To be an artist was my choice, however, am from the internet generation where there are “artists” everywhere; so during these years of starting from scratch. I had to fight the noise to stay concentrated on drawing and painting.

The year 2022 was a turning point for me, I travelled to my wife’s country Colombia, where life was upside down comparing to Vietnam, where I saw Botero paintings. We came back, got married in Hanoi. Then, we moved to Hoi An for a better life.

In Hoi An, I completed an ambitious yet fulfilling 365-portraits-in-2023 project.
